At the Alpina, winter is easy to enjoy. The mountains of Rauris lie right on the doorstep, and after an eventful day you can look forward to cosy hours, good food and the warm atmosphere of our 4-star hotel.

Wellness & Relaxation

On a cold winter's day, a little warmth feels especially good. Swim a few lengths in the 29 °C indoor pool or take time out in the Finnish sauna, the gentle Swiss pine sauna or our infrared cabin.

Cuisine

Good food is simply part of a holiday with us! Mornings bring a generous breakfast buffet, afternoons a relaxed snack, and in the evening we spoil you with our 6-course choice menu. Prepared with plenty of care and regional ingredients, of course.

RAURIS VALLEY

A day on the slopes at the Rauriser Hochalmbahnen, or would you rather explore the snow-covered winter trails in the Hohe Tauern National Park? The choice is yours! Especially convenient: the Kreuzboden lift is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel.

Family time

Skiing together, a fun toboggan run and then a dip in the indoor pool. At the Alpina there's plenty to discover for winter fans big and small. Boredom? Certainly not!

Frequently asked questions

You can occupy your room on the day of arrival from 15:00 to 18:00. On the day of departure, please vacate your room by 10:00 for cleaning.

On the evening before departure you can ask at reception for a late check-out; this is possible if the room is not occupied again the same day. We charge 40 euros per double room (without meals).

For an earlier check-in, a request at least one day before arrival is required. If you occupy the room before 15:00 we charge 40 euros per room. For family rooms and studios the charge is adjusted depending on the number of persons.

We follow the cancellation conditions of the General Terms and Conditions of the Austrian Hotel Industry, 2006 version. Up to 3 months before arrival – no cancellation fee. 3 months to 1 month before arrival – 40% cancellation fee. 1 month to 1 week before arrival – 70% cancellation fee. In the last week and for no-show – 90% cancellation fee.

Dogs are allowed. We charge 25 euros per day for your dog, food not included. Please understand that dogs cannot be taken into the dining room or onto the sunbathing lawn. In the hotel and on the hotel grounds we also ask you to keep your dog on a leash.

At Hotel Alpina we accept cash, Maestro and credit card payments (Master Card and Visa).

Hotel Alpina has its own indoor pool, 11 x 6 metres, 1.45 metres deep, with a constant water temperature of 29 degrees, open daily from 07:00 to 22:00. A solar-heated outdoor pool, 10 x 5 metres, 1.45 metres deep, is also available to our guests in summer (weather permitting). The temperature depends on the weather.

Hotel Alpina has large car parks directly in front of the hotel where our guests can park free of charge. One parking space is provided per room. Please let us know if you are travelling with large campers or trailers.

The Rauriser Hochalmbahnen have 2 valley stations. The valley station of the gondola lifts is about 900 metres from the hotel. In summer only the valley station of the Hochalmbahnen gondola is open. The valley station of the Kreuzboden chairlift can be reached in 3 minutes on foot (open in winter only).
